Reorder Link

Reorder links make it effortless for customers to repurchase their favorite products. By automatically pre-filling the cart with items from a previous order and applying relevant discounts, these links create the fastest path to repeat purchases.

How it works

When a customer clicks on a reorder link, the link will automatically add the items from their previous order to the cart and apply shipping information from the previous order.

You can combine a reorder link with the other cards that are available for your picked link type. I.e. add a free gift or a discount for any customer who clicks on the reorder link. This is a great way to increase the conversion rate of your reorders and create customer loyalty.

How to configure

You can make any link a reorder link simply by toggling the Dynamic card on and selecting Reorder in the list.

Toggling the Dynamic card on and selecting Reorder in the list will change the structure of the link. A reorder link consists of three parts:

  1. The original link with shortcode
  2. A customer ID
  3. A parameter stating it's a reorder link

How you get the customer ID depends on your use case and the platform you are using, it won't have any affect on the reorder link itself.

What's a customer ID?

The customer ID is the customer ID in Shopify. You can find it in the URL of a customer's profile page in Shopify.
